MEET OUR TEAM

Your dedicated IT support team will work with you and get to know your business and your employees. When you partner with MicroXpress you will often work with the same people for many years to come.

Partners

Craig Beam
Craig Beam

Craig Beam started with MicroXpress in 1994 as a sales representative. He is now a partner at the company and responsible for new client acquisition, IT service offerings, and overall business growth. Craig enjoys nothing more in life than answering unsolicited telemarketing calls. When not in the office, he enjoys surf fishing, the beach, and cooking BBQ for his friends and family.

Brian Zortman
Brian Zortman

Brian Zortman was hired in 1997. He is now a partner at MicroXpress and the leader of the technical team. Brian has “saved the day” countless times for his clients, but none more memorable than the time he had to uninstall MLB All-Star Baseball 2002 from a client’s server because it had taken down their entire network. Brian enjoys playing the guitar/drums and is an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Duke Basketball fan, but please don’t hold that against him.

Andrew Beam
Andrew Beam

Andrew Beam came on board at MicroXpress in 2010 and is instrumental in running the day-to-day operations for the company. Many of our clients know him as the voice at the end of the phone, but he’s most often “recognized” as the guy who sacked NFL QB Chad Henne in a Red Lion High School football game. Outside of work, Andrew can be found running, playing golf, and searching for the world’s best pizza.

Technicians

Mark Haas
Mark Haas

Mark Haas began working for MicroXpress in 1998 and currently has the 3rd most seniority at the company. Mark loves reminiscing about his days as a CNE and still believes Novell Netware was the greatest network operating system ever made. Outside of work, Mark is an avid outdoorsman and can often be found either fishing or trail riding with friends and family.

Justin Smith
Justin Smith

Justin Smith was hired at MicroXpress in 2011 even though we knew he was a Patriots fan. As a systems engineer and security specialist, Justin is just crazy about compliance. He spends most of his days dreaming about regularity regulations, but when not at work, Justin also enjoys working out in the gym and spending time with his family.

Phil Thomas
Phil Thomas

Phil Thomas came to MicroXpress in 2015 bringing years of corporate IT experience with him. Phil’s keen attention to detail has lead to him becoming our data backup and disaster recovery specialist. In addition to being a craft beer connoisseur, Phil is a football and hockey fan and enjoys PC gaming in his spare time.

Maurice Shelton
Maurice Shelton

Maurice Shelton began with MicroXpress in 2015 after previously working for another MSP outside of the area. Maurice relishes in Network Administration and anxiously awaits the release of every new server update that he can test and deploy. In his spare time, Maurice likes playing Assassins’ Creed and hopes to read 20 books this year.

Rich Pavoncello
Rich Pavoncello

Rich Pavoncello came on board in 2016 as a systems engineer. His love of weekend getaways and unbridled dedication to customer service has lead to some interesting experiences including diagnosing email issues from a kayak and helping clients get connected to their VPN while relaxing on the beach.

Ron Tucker
Ron Tucker

Ron Tucker started at MicroXpress in 2017 and is currently deciding if he wants to be the next GM of the Phillies or Eagles. Until then, Ron is the acting service manager at MicroXpress. If you call the helpdesk, there’s a good chance Ron will be the one you talk to. Ron plays football in the YAFFL (York Adult Flag Football League) and hopes to someday travel to Greece.

Tony Barton
Tony Barton

Tony Barton was hired at MicroXpress in 2018 as an IT security specialist. In addition to his numerous IT certifications, Tony has also completed Security+, SSCP, Certified Incident Handler, and Web Security Associate training. When he’s not obsessing over new ways to protect our client’s data, Tony enjoys sports, music and gaming.

Mike Kelly
Mike Kelly

Mike Kelly started working for MicroXpress in 2019 and provides the “boots on the ground” IT support for many of our York area clients. Mike loves noting more than technical troubleshooting, and no issue is too big or too small for him to resolve. When not fixing IT problems, Mike can be found fishing, traveling or gaming.

Tyler Zortman
Tyler Zortman

Tyler Zortman came on board at MicroXpress in 2021 and brought a background in application support. Tyler is a customer service enthusiast. In addition to happily answering phones and quickly responding to emails, Tyler enjoys reading, gaming, traveling and spending time with family.

Corey Keister
Corey Keister

Corey Keister started in 2022 and is the newest addition to our team. He is a recent IT grad who also brings relevant IT experience in the field. Corey revels in resetting passwords and replacing outdated equipment. Outside of work, Corey can most likely be found gaming, watching sports, and coaching his son’s t-ball team.

Derrick Foor
Derrick Foor

Derrick Foor came to MicroXpress in 2022 from another local MSP. Derrick loves building a rapport with his clients to get a better understanding of their business and help them leverage technology to succeed. Outside of work, Derrick enjoys family, working out, deer hunting and reading non-fiction psychology books.
